DUST AND EROSION CONTROL / PHOENIX, ARIZONA

Turn loose dirt into a surface that holds.

Hardpan Supply Co. supplies Solid Earth polymer soil stabilizer to Arizona contractors, aggregate yards and site owners. It cures into a durable crust that keeps dust down and holds the surface together, so you are not relying on a water truck all day.

WHERE IT WORKS

Surfaces you are watering now.

The best fit is ground with moderate traffic, where the current fix is a water truck or nothing at all. And because the treated surface stays in place, there is less to regrade: dirt that doesn’t move doesn’t need to be bladed back.

Equipment yards and laydowns

Staging and storage areas that sit open for months and kick up dust every time a truck pulls in.

Perimeters and pads

Disturbed ground around data centers, subdivisions and plants, where dust crossing the property line is the problem.

Access and service roads

Site entrances, plant roads and light-vehicle routes inside the proven load range.

Slopes, banks and embankments

Erosion control on cut slopes and embankments. Used on embankment work at Tucson International Airport.

Parking and staging

Crew parking, scale approaches and temporary lots on active jobs.

Aggregate and material yards

Stockpile areas, yard roads and vacant ground at pits and ready-mix plants.

Built around the dust rules you are inspected against.

Maricopa County Rule 310

Pinal County commercial yards

Unpaved surfaces must be kept visibly moist or have a maintained crust. A stabilized crust is the option that doesn't need a truck every few hours.

Yards used more than 35 days a year can't rely on water alone. The options are pave, gravel, or a non-water suppressant with a trackout device.

A paper trail for inspectors

Every application comes with a dated invoice, rate and area. A water truck pass leaves nothing to show.

THE PRODUCT

Solid Earth soil stabilizer

A water-dilutable polymer binder made in the US by Solid Earth Inc. Sprayed on a prepared surface, it soaks into the top layer of soil and cures into a continuous binder that holds fines and aggregate together. It is not a salt and not a wetting agent, so it doesn't pull moisture out of the air or wash into the soil around it.

Hardpan Supply Co. is an authorized distributor. We size the job, supply the product and support your crew on the first application.
